Wells Fargo Bank Volunteers Assist Hope Village embARC Installation

Thank you to our Wells Fargo Bank Volunteers for assisting HomeAid’s most recent project for local care provider Hope Solutions, Hope Village. Last summer, HomeAid partnered with UC Berkeley’s embARC program to design creative accessory items to complement this project located at Grace Presbyterian Church in Walnut Creek.

The embARC High School program embraces civic responsibility by partnering with a local community organization each summer to design and install a local improvement project. In 2024, the students built community planter boxes, bird nesting and insect enclosures, and project signage with our development partner Firm Foundation Community Housing

Together with our Wells Fargo Bank volunteer team, we filled and installed the students’ flower box planters, insect nesting boxes, and project signage for the residents at Hope Village. HomeAid is grateful for the opportunity to work with Wells Fargo Bank, which supported this project with a $25,000 grant to help fund the construction of this important project for the community.

If you are interested in getting involved in a HomeAid project or want to learn more, please contact Crisand Giles for more information.
