Shepherd’s Gate Honors HomeAid

HomeAid was honored to be celebrated by Shepherd’s Gate at their Denim & Diamonds Gala last weekend!  It was an evening to commend the work that Shepherd’s Gate does in the community and how partnerships with organizations like HomeAid help Care Providers construct new and remodeled facilities, enabling them to expand programs in the Bay Area.  Shepherd’s Gate shared our new HomeAid video at the Gala. It introduced us to some of the clients who will be living in the new 2-bedroom Cottage apartments and Pantry Addition that Shea Homes completed with their construction trades and partners.  The cottages will be for clients who have found stable employment or are attending college, prior to becoming fully self-sufficient graduates of the program and moving into local affordable housing. 

HomeAid builds and renovates multi-shelter units for homeless families and individuals so they can rebuild their lives. As the charity arm of the building industry, HomeAid’s work is made possible through the generosity of homebuilders, their trade partners, financial institutions, and you. HomeAid’s primary focus is on the women, children, veterans, and families who experience a life-altering event and are rendered temporarily homeless due to circumstances beyond their control.  For more information about HomeAid or how to get involved, please contact Crisand Giles.
