  • Mission Solano

    Phases 1, 2, 3
    Mission Solano provides emergency shelter for up to 100 people each night for those with immediate housing needs. The transitional housing number will increase to 120 after the opening of the Men's Shelter this spring. Mission Solano's residential programs include the Bridge to Life Center for formerly homeless Veterans, at-risk women, and at-risk women with children, and the Rays of Hope program for men in transition.

    HomeAid work included site work, single women's building, daycare center, family units, men's building and caretaker's unit.

  • Shepherd's Gate

    Phases 1, 2 and Life Center
    Shepherd's Gate has provided services and housing to over 10,000 battered and homeless women and children. Shepherd's Gate provides a safe haven for women and their children who are homeless because of abusive relationships, addictions, loss of financial support and other factors.

    HomeAid work included construction of five, 2 bedroom cottages, residence hall for 40 women and children, life center to support programs and a daycare facility.

    Banyan House offers private rooms with baths for eight families, with communal dining, living room, and outdoor space. FESCO provides meals and on-site case management and mental health counseling.

    HomeAid renovated existing, uninhabitable structure into 8 apartments for families.

    This center offers 32 affordable studio apartments adjacent to New Beginnings Center in the Hamilton area of Novato. The project provides a model of "employment enhancement housing," allowing homeless adults to continue investing in their futures through job training or education while retaining employment, sobriety, and living independently.

  • Cristian Valle Residence

    As a part of our Wounded Veterans' Program, HomeAid remodeled the family kitchen and renovated the yard so that Cristian Valle can more easily participate and enjoy time with his family. Christian is the proud recipient of the National Defense Army Commendation Medal, the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
