HomeAid’s annual PASS toy drive was a major success. In recognition of Homeless and Hunger Awareness Week November 14 – 17th, HomeAid Northern California held a toy drive on November 13th. Huge thanks go out to the building industry for stepping up again this year to help the children at Banyan House and Mission Solano to have an amazing holiday season.Read More
This annual event held September 18th at the Livermore Gun Club raised over $170,000 for the fight to end homelessness in the Bay Area!
HomeAid joined forces with GE Consumer & Industrial volunteers for a "HomeAid Cares Day" on Saturday, June 9 in Hayward, California to make life brighter for the residents of Banyan House. Built by HomeAid Northern California, Standard Pacific Homes, and FESCO's (Family Emergency Shelter Coalition) public and private funders, the 32-bed FESCO-operated transitional housing facility received a new coat of interior paint and GE appliances for homeless families dealing with illness, job loss, divorce and the scarcity of affordable housing.
Our annual comedy nights offering an evening of entertainment go a long way in helping those in need and to make a difference in our fight to end homelessness. This year’s 5th Annual Comedy Event with Dana Carvey raised over $75,000, and we thank all of our wonderful volunteers and donors.
One of the goals of this event was to raise awareness of HomeAid with the public at large and attempt to generate corporate sponsorship beyond our traditional base. We are very pleased that we achieved this goal, especially given the challenging economic times.Sponsorship and Ticket Purchases
